Run for the World events happen annually across Canada, Tanzania, Peru, Rwanda, Uganda, and Jamaica!
Local Committee member and returned volunteer Kim Byers wrote, “I would definitely recommend getting involved in Cuso’s Running for the World. It is not only a great way to let people know about Cuso International, but it is a fun way to engage people in international development issues. I will definitely be running again!!”
Run for the World is a sister project of CUSO-VSO’s Volunteers for the World campaign. It needed to retain most of the design cues from the main project, yet be distinct as a separate project. I was involved in early brainstorming and design sessions, and created the design concept to present to CUSO-VSO. The small website is designed to act as a portal for information and registration, and ties into a fully skinned Artez fundraising back-end. The UX mandate was simple: Provide a clear 2 step call to action for registration, or allow someone to easily sponsor a team.
